The AI has been trained on facades from several markets (FR/US/UK/DE) and handles most European and North-American residential typologies. Validated styles on significant simulation volume:

How long does an HD simulation take?

30 seconds on average from upload to downloadable HD render. Measured on 16,983 simulations since July 2025: p50 at 22 seconds, p95 at 41 seconds. Time depends on photo weight (max 15 MB) and facade segmentation complexity.

Which color palettes are available?

10+ built-in palettes: RAL Classic (200+ shades), Sherwin-Williams (1,700+), Benjamin Moore, Dulux, Caparol, Brillux, Sto, Farrow & Ball, Tollens, Weber, Zolpan, Seigneurie. You can also enter a custom HEX or RGB code to match a specific swatch.

Does FacadeColorizer work on every house style?

Yes - contemporary, 1970s suburban, exposed stone, Parisian meulière, timber-framed, Provençal, US colonial, British Tudor, German Fachwerk, craftsman, Georgian. Buildings with dense vegetation or very high-contrast lighting may need a magic-wand refinement pass.

Are the simulations photorealistic?

Yes. The HD render (min 2,048 px long edge) preserves shadows, reliefs, joints and original texture. Our in-house AI engine applies the color onto the real geometry, not a flat filter. For on-site validation, print the render at A3 next to the physical swatch.

Can I use the renders for a client quote?

Yes, from the Artisan plan (€79/month). You get a PDF quote with your logo, contact details, before/after photo and color reference. Contractor users report +15 to +25 % quote signature rate vs quotes without visualization.

Are my photos kept?

Photos are stored encrypted (at rest and in transit, multi-zone backups) and auto-deleted after 30 days for free accounts, 180 days for paid plans. You can delete manually at any time from your dashboard. GDPR-compliant.

Is there a mobile app?

No native iOS or Android app as of today. FacadeColorizer is a responsive web app that works on Safari iOS 15+ and Chrome Android. Uploading from your phone camera is supported natively via the HTML5 file input. A PWA is planned for 2026.

Does FacadeColorizer have any limits on architectural style?

No technical limit on style. Our AI segments any building independently: contemporary, ranch, brick, stone, Tudor, colonial, Craftsman, Georgian, Victorian, Cape Cod, Mediterranean. Buildings with dense vegetation or extreme contrast may need a magic-wand refinement.
