About Hugo Dumoulin
Hugo Dumoulin signs the FacadeColorizer guides. He launched the product in 2024, after roughly ten years spent observing, comparing and documenting exterior facade and interior paint colors, with no reliable way to preview a repaint before the work started. He runs the product with a small team and reviews every guide before it goes live. Since launch the team has analyzed thousands of facades, interior rooms, RAL palettes and color trends across the French, German, UK and US markets to feed the product's knowledge base.
How these guides are made
- Every guide is read and signed off by Hugo Dumoulin before publication. No anonymous authors, no paid guest posts.
- Guides are written per market, not translated: palettes, regulations and prices differ between France, Germany, the UK and the US.
- Guides on prices, regulations and products are reviewed and visibly carry the date of their last change.
- The simulations are indicative visualisations, not colorimetric references: screen, capture and ambient light all shift how a colour reads.
